We live for the sun burning orange in front of our eyes, not knowing it’s also reflected in them
We live for the one moment in thousands that we can breathe without pain.
We live for fear of missing something if we don’t.
We live for when our aching heart will be cared for by someone else’s, and we will care for theirs.
We live for the people who need us to live.
We live for the moments we’ve lost.
We live for the time that slipped away when we had our backs turned.
We live to be someone else’s reason to live.

We live for hope. We live for love. We live for one hug that feels like it’s all that’s keeping us alive. We live to see the wounds turn to scars, and the scars fade away. We live for the notes in a song half-forgotten. We live for each other. We live for ourselves. We live to throw our fist in the face of karma and tell it we’ve won.

We live because when we look long enough, we always see that there’s not another way.

Hi there!

I just wanted to thank you for creating your Ultimate OC text meme! It has proved to be a very helpful tool. I posted it in my journal a while ago ([link]), and since then lots of my friends have used it for their characters as well. We're even using it as a supplement to character sheets on a roleplaying forum now!
